Basya Benshushan.

Basya builds companies. Good Fortune is one of them.

She grew up in a house of computers. Her parents were among the first to build personal computers for the workforce, servicing Exxon, Enron, Coca-Cola, Shell, and HISD. Business wasn't theoretical. It was the environment.

In 1998, her mother built and sold a technology company to General Electric. That set the baseline early. Build something real. Make it work.

She started in digital in the early 2010s, when the space was still unstructured. No playbooks. No clear channels. Just figuring out what worked and scaling it. That turned into an agency built on performance, not presentation. She founded Good Fortune in 2011.

Today she runs Good Fortune alongside ventures in construction, real estate, and cold storage. Not adjacent. Active. Teams, projects, risk, execution.

That shows up in how she works with clients. Practical. Direct. No separation between strategy and execution.

Her work spans brand, AI systems, and crisis situations — often where decisions matter and there's no room for noise.

Based in Houston. Mother of six.
